This map is being used as a guide to the locations of parks, facilities and natural areas within St. Charles Illinois. It is placed at the back of the 2011-12 winter brochure as a fold-out. There are additional pages with more information on each corresponding numbered park, facility and natural area.
I created this map by using the base from the summer "Staycation" map. I changed the green grass to white snow in Adobe Photoshop. Needing more detail, I added roads to better show where the parks are located. This was done in Illustrator and brought into PS. The people, trees and animals were drawn using a Wacom digital drawing tablet using various photos
as a reference.
